I want to choose between a alternate magazine and a rock magazine, I decided to make it a alternate rock magazine which focuses more on the unknown artists then the popular one, I decided to do it on this as other Sheffield magazines like to show popular bands and singers so doing it on more underground artists makes it more unique. Also my magazine will only focus on this genre of music whereas exposed and NME like to do articles on different kinds of things rather than just alternate rock music.

I ended up choosing AMP as it is a short snappy name which links to the genre of rock as the main instrument in a rock band is a electric guitar which needs a amp to work.
